Today we had planned a picnic/photo shoot park lunch with my sister Elise and my nephew Reiley. Unfortunately the weather was poor so I finally got to see Elise's new home and we had a picnic in her front room. Then we headed off to the park for a play before the rain started again. I only took a few shots as I was scared of getting my camera wet and these were the best of the bunch.
I just adore this one of us, how cute does Miss E look with her butterfly clip........she just melts my heart.
Just posing..........................a perfect caught shot!
Swing fun with Ra, I love madams cheeky tongue sticking out!
Elise and her (big)baby.

I have a quilt project in the making thanks to Emma for recommending the new magazine Sew. I just felt the need to grab some materials and get started. So I have brought some fabric and we are off car booting on Sunday and Wednesday for a look for more materials and yummy vintage finds. I am sure we will manage a few camera shots while we are out as we plan to picnic on Sunday if the weather is nice. I may have to take my tripod for some family ones. I cannot think of anything nicer than a sunny day and some yummy food enjoying family life......bliss!

Right bed is calling. I will update soon, hopefully with a sneak of a 'Emily's' mini album, filled with photo's of her and words from me. I had the idea tonight but I am not sure when I will start it............................a million and one things to do etc!!

Lots of love

Yay, can't wait to see you're quilt! I've been doing a practise one with fabric I already had. Just need to buy some wadding this weekend and sew the layers together to finish it off, hopefully I'll finish it on Sunday and then I can order some fabric for the proper one (I promise myself I wouldn't until I finished the practise one). I loved sewing the patches together though... very theraputic and loved seeing it all come together. It's only a tiny one for the cat but good practise!

Love those photos hun, you're definately making good use of the new lens. Emily is just too cute.
