Here is the make up bag I made, the first time I have ever done a zip and I am pretty happy with how it turned out. Shame about the photos though, a rushed job and bad lighting!!! href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_ZNiaeLu5W3A/TTK3_mARcUI/AAAAAAAACoM/rnajX0EjExc/s1600/makeup%2Bbag%2B2.jpg"
A few lovely ladies have asked what new sewing books I have had my head in so here is the list.
Cannot wait to make a dress for myself out of this one.
Very pretty, with lots of information and some cute project ideas.
Oh my heart be still.....Oilily style clothes! It only has 10 patterns in and I will only use around 3 or 4 but I love this book and cannot wait to make Emily a pretty outfit or 2 from it.I love the internet, I do spend way too much time on it. I favorite way too many sites and I thought I would share a few with you today. Gotta share the love right?
The DIY Dish.....love this tutorial for a pretty bag to sew.
Everyday Elements: Photography and Photoshop advise and tutorials. I especially love this photoshop tutorial. Some freebie actions too....yay! Don't forget to sign up to the newsletter for extra freebies. Just look at the difference it has made to this photo....lub lub lub!!
AMP Photography: Love the photography and adore her PSE actions. She does some freebies so check them out. My fave freebie and over used one is Vintage Sepia but my must buys are Vintage Recess and Summer Haze. Roll on some spare cash to play with.
In other news......
The diet and exercise campaign is well and truly on starting tomorrow. I will shift this last 10lbs by my birthday in April. Hence the related picture. Jillian's DVD is a killer but makes those pounds drop....yee haa. Cannot wait to scrapbook that photo.
I am preparing the garden for the summers bounty. I am looking forward to fresh veg from the garden as the snow ruined almost everything I had left growing. We are going to buy some bulbs tomorrow to plant in the front garden weather permitting.
I am feeling much better now, still a little tired but back on form and ready for action. Good job as my ironing basket is sky high and other jobs need attending too.
Off to leave a little love in the blog world now and will be back soon will my December Daily....late I know!!
Love,
Micayla xx

Wow, that bag is gorgeous!! Have only attempted a few zips so far & they do get easier!! The books look great, cant wait to see a few projects. Good luck tommorrow, I start trying to lose the last stone of baby weight tommorrow too. Not looking forward to it but gotta be done. xxxxx
Great wash bag, well done with the zip. I've had some zips sitting in my sewing box for over ten years, and still haven't attempted to attach one to anything! Glad you're feeling better. x
Oh girl I missed you! That bag is super cute! Cant wait to see all the stuff you sew.xoxox
wow, I love that bag! I intended to do some sort of sewing project last night and ended up sitting on the computer surfing pretty for three hours! How did that happen! Where do you get your fabrics from? Love the ones you have used on that bag.
Ooh, brilliant! News on your books AND photoshop recommendations - excellent! I love that clear, white light in the example you showed, it's just the kind of photo I would love to be able to produce.
Your makeup bag is very pretty :)
Nice job on the makeup bag! Too funny that I made my first bag with a zip the other day, mine was a 'little cutie coin purse' from noodlehead design!
Happy creating! Love that bag! <3
