The magic begins..............

Digging deep
For most of the week, I have spent a lot of time in the garden. I find this very rewarding and therapeutic, just the thought of getting out raises a smile across my face. I have been busy digging, making boarders and preparing beds for vegetables we are growing this year.

Strawberries peeking through.
The strawberry roots are beginning to show their greenery, the grass area is almost ready for seed. I have pots of peas, sprouts and cabbage inside and the parsnips, early carrots and beetroot have been sown. Tomatoes, cucumber and lettuce will be sown soon as will the swedes, potatoes, sweetcorn and basil. I am excited, I must admit.....the thought and process of growing your own is seriously the best. If you have never tried it, go and grab some seed.

Doing her thing.

Hooray...outside drying time.
The weather has been pretty good this week. We had a few days of bad winds but it allowed me to get the washing on the line. You cannot beat the sight of washing on the line and that smell is heaven. I love spring so much.
A glorious spring day.
I am in the process of doing a BIG thing....a personal thing for me and our future.....exciting stuff! I am not sure if it will come off, but I am keeping my fingers crossed and working hard. Crafting is out of the window for now until this BIG thing is completed. I hope to share the good news soon.

I best dash, I have some homework to do and a few episodes of The Sopranos to watch, I am truly hooked on the thing!!! Catch up soon. xx
